The Cardo Freecom X/Spirit Half Helmet Kit is designed to adapt a compatible communication unit to a half-helmet configuration. Because half helmets do not provide the enclosed interior used by standard wired-microphone installations, the kit supplies a more suitable mounting and microphone arrangement. It is useful for riders moving an existing Freecom X or Spirit unit to a cruiser-style or other open helmet without buying another complete communication system.
